To make a larger social impact, a synergy between various organizations is the key. Rotary Club of Pune Cantonment has been doing projects with various other rotary clubs as well as organizations that share similar vision. For past 35 years, Rotary Club of Pune Cantonment has been a leader in helping needy from various strata of the society. However, there are various significant organizations without whose help, a larger impact could not have been possible.

PBMA H.V.Desai Eye Hospital - Poona Blind Men’s Association H.V.Desai Eye Hospital at Hadapsar, Pune came into existence in 2000 on 5-acre land, and is a non-government, non-profit, eye care hospital. The hospital is accredited by National Accreditation Board of Hospitals (NABH). The hospital aims to prevent blindness and promote eye health in the region by providing quality and affordable eye care services.

In partnership with PBMA’s H. V. Desai Eye Hospital, the club has helped over 15000 individuals with the cataract operations.

Sleeping Children Around the World provides bedkits to children in need, 50% girls and 50% boys, between the ages of 6 and 12, regardless of race, religion, national or ethnic origin, colour, gender, or physical or mental disability. Bedkits are manufactured or purchased overseas by our Overseas Volunteer Partners (OVPs) - local organizations and individuals - who use their knowledge and expertise to pick the best bedkit items for the children living in that area. Producing bedkits locally provides additional benefits such as employment for dozens of workers, virtually no transportation costs, and strengthened communities.

Sleeping Children Around the World has helped more than 1.8 million children in 36 countries experience healthy sleep through the gift of a bedkit. The club, in partnership with SCAW Canada, has distributed bedkits to over 8000 students in the rural area of Maharashtra.

Blue Circle Diabetes Foundation is to normalize diabetes by creating a safe space for people to engage in a dialogue about the intricacies of living with diabetes and to educate and empower the larger community.

Evolent Health International Pvt. Ltd. in partnership with Rotary Club Pune Cantonment had contributed to two commendable initiatives, Green Periods and Green Earth, which had a significant impact and demonstrated a profound commitment to social responsibility and environmental stewardship. The Green Periods initiative has made significant strides in promoting menstrual health and sustainability through the distribution of reusable sanitary napkins. Concurrently, the Green Earth project which involved tree plantation at MSETCL, Chinchwad, has contributed to ecological conservation and alignment with the global efforts to combat climate change These efforts not only reflect the ethos of our organization but also created a lasting impact on the community and environment. Such initiatives are exemplary and set a benchmark for CSR activities, showcasing how strategic investment can lead to substantial social and environmental benefits.
